Site Manager US / Americas (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Site Manager to oversee operations for the US office (on site) and all additional company representatives in the Americas (mainly remote). Reporting directly to the Group C-Level, you will ensure smooth business processes, compliance with local laws and regulations, and the efficient functioning of the US entity. Collaborating closely with the management team, you will support staff across the Americas, who report to their functional managers within a matrix. Your responsibilities also include ensuring financial compliance, maintaining effective administrative processes, managing local risks, and safeguarding company assets. You will be responsible for the preparation of financial reports and ensure adherence to local tax and financial regulations in close coordination with the headquarters in Germany. Additionally, you will manage workplace services, including office facilities and IT systems, to support both in-office and remote staff. As the local representative, you will act as the point of contact for authorities, stakeholders, and employees, addressing their needs and ensuring a productive, compliant, and efficient work environment. This role is essential to fostering smooth regional operations and supporting the success of the entire staff in the Americas.

Unser Wunschprofil

As an ideal candidate you hold a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, with professional certifications such as CPA or CFA being a plus. You should have proven experience in a senior management role, ideally in operations, finance, or general management, coupled with a solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, taxation, and US regulatory requirements. Proficiency with business management tools like Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce, and Atlassian is essential, as is a strong service-oriented mindset and the ability to resolve challenges efficiently. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and fluency in English is mandatory. Experience managing a local site for a global organization is highly valued, along with a track record of working in dynamic, high-growth environments. Familiarity with SaaS or subscription based business models and prior exposure to private equity-backed organizations are preferred attributes.
